Barrie continues to be at home, it has been a month now since he was discharged from St Thomas'

He finds progress depressingly slow as there is still no fixed date for the urological operation which would really set him on the road to recovery.

On the NHS it might not happen till end of April or May which is much too long to wait, therefor the family are trying to get the insurance company to pay for
private treatment which could happen in February provided funds are forthcoming. A very frustrating situation both for Barrie and his family as not much progress can be made till the next procedure is completed. Needless to say the insurance company are dragging their heels !
