Hi everybody
This is
just to let you know of the latest news. Dad
was today taken
to another Parisien hospital
to have a urology problem dealt with,
which
was a successful "excursion" and at the time of
writing, he is
probably still not back at his
own hospital. The disruption to his
daily routine today meant he's not really been
able to try to eat and
we're hoping he won't
be hungry when he does get back to his room as
he will have missed hospital dinner.
(He's probably started to get a
bit fed
up with shortbread biscuits by now too!).
I've not
been able to speak to Dad for very long today as my
conversation with him this morning was cut
short when a nurse arrived
to attend to him,
but his pain has subsided considerably today, which
is of course very welcome news, although I
think he is still
struggling with quite bad
nausea. I'm not sure if this is due to the
medication he is currently taking, or residues
of anaesthesia still in
his system - perhaps a
combination of both!
I'm afraid I don't have much
more news than this today, but may have
more
tomorrow, perhaps.
